About Strong Families
Familias Fuertes = Comunidades Prósperas was founded in 2022 by Estela Carrera-Infante.
Estela's dream has been to support all families in the nurturing and developing of their children's self-esteem, the foundation for a successfully and fulfilling life for every human being. She believes parenting has to be the most difficult task a family can encounter.
Plática de Autoestima: Un Asunto Toda la Familia, a parenting program in Spanish, supports Latino families through this difficult job. This program created at the University of Washington, helped her dream come true. Now Estela will work to expand our programs to meet the changing and challenging needs of families in our community.
